Brain Day Volunteers Needed!
Sign-Up for Brain Day 2012 before February 20th!
WHAT IS BRAIN DAY?!
During Brain Awareness Week in March every year, The Brain Day Association of UofT organizes a half-day program for junior elementary students (http://brainday.sa.utoronto.ca/about/).
Volunteers are UofT undergrads, graduate, and medical students who use hands on techniques, interactive discussion and fun experiments to teach students about the brain! Volunteers typically present in pairs to engage students in discovering the science and wonders of the human brain, how it works, and how injuries can permanently affect the body.
Brain Day is a wonderful experience for both students and volunteers…and there is a waiting list of classrooms that have requested to have a Brain Day presentation
