2013/14 NAUS EXECUTIVE ELECTIONS

Come out and VOTE/RUN for the 2013/2014 NAUS Executive Council this Wednesday April 3rd, 3pm-5pm at OISE Room 2198!
** TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO SUBMIT A SPEECH TO RUN FOR NAUS EXECUTIVE POSITIONS! **
Are you interested in playing an active role in the Neuroscience PoST
community? Do you enjoy interacting with your peers and organizing
social and academic events? If your answer is yes to either of these,
we strongly encourage you to run for a position on next year’s NAUS
council, or exercise your right to vote in person!

It is NAUS’s chief goal to do our best to improve the social and academic experience of our Neuroscience community, and if you have a great idea to make NAUS even better, then PLEASE come out and run for an exec position!!!

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO RUN FOR A POSITION:
- Candidates should be prepared to give a short, 2 minute speech on
**April 3rd from 3-5PM at OISE Room 2198 **
- Each individual may only run for ONE position, and cannot run in
conjunction with another candidate.
- For more information on the positions, please see the information on
our website and constitution (naus.sa.utoronto.ca)
- The *DEADLINE* to submit your speech and qualify for NAUS Executive
Elections is Sunday, March 31th @ 11:59PM!! Please send the speech,
along with your name, student number, year of study, and position of
interest to: naus@utoronto.ca

VOTING:
Voting will occur promptly after the speeches, and will also be
available online. Only registered students in either the Neuroscience
Specialist or Major Programs are eligible to vote!! Details about
online voting will be available shortly!

The Institute of Medical Science (IMS) is organizing TEDMED Day with the Faculty of Medicine here at UofT and YOU ARE INVITED TO REGISTER starting Monday April 1st (tomorrow!) !!!

The Human Biology Department is looking for any interested students to help with the filming, editing and uploading of videos for neuroscience courses. If you are interested in participating in this project, please send an email to theprofessor.bill@gmail.com with ‘Volunteer’ in the subject line.
